The Asanteman Association of Georgia is a nonprofit organization (NGO) under the law of the State of Georgia. The association Executive Board as well as the Committee organized solely to assist in charitable work, educating our children and ourselves in Ashanti rich cultural systems. 

We, the people of Asante or Ashanti Region in the Republic of Ghana hailing from Adansi, Ahafo, Amansie, Asante Akyem, Atwima, Brong, Kwabere, Manso, New Juaben and Sekyere, and Ghanaians now domiciled in Georgia in the United States of America believe that we should unite to form a socio-cultural organization in order to promote our interest and welfare.

We believe that as one people bound to encourage, preserve and promote our cultural heritage; seek educational and economic advantage and strengthen our social ties with other cultural and ethnic group to develop a mechanism for advocating unity, self-help and general welfare for our children and us throughout the state of Georgia.
